Partial COD is a payment method on shopthetrending.in where the customer needs to pay ₹ 50 or 5% of the cost of each item (whichever is higher) in advance & rest of the amount can be paid as cash on delivery.
Purpose of Partial COD is to avoid booking of fake/unintentional orders. As we all are aware of fake COD orders nowadays which are somehow not accepted by customers and results in shipping expenses for ecommerce platforms. So, Partial COD becomes a precautionary measure to avoid such orders.
If the customer decides to cancel the order after dispatch, shipping & handling charge of ₹ 199 (Maximum) will be deducted from the Advance Amount Payment and the rest will be refunded back to same payment method.
