Return is a scheme provided by Shopthetrending.in directly under this policy in terms of which the option of exchange, replacement and/ or refund is offered. All products listed under a particular category may not have the same returns policy. For all products, the policy on the product page shall prevail over the general returns policy. Do refer the respective item’s applicable return policy on the product page for any exceptions.

The return policy is divided into three parts; Do read all sections carefully to understand the conditions and cases under which returns will be accepted.

PART 1 – RETURN WINDOW AND ACTIONS POSSIBLE

Replacement/Refund Only

In order to help you resolve issues with your product, we may troubleshoot your product either through online tools, over the phone, and/or through physical return then verification of the product.

If a defect is determined within the Returns Window, a replacement of the same model will be provided at no additional cost. If no defect is confirmed or the issue is not diagnosed within 7 days of delivery or Installation wherever applicable, then return window will be closed and will/may not be processed further.

For any issues with the delivered product, the customer needs to report the same to us/place a return request within 48 hours of Delivery. Post which the package needs to be handed over to the courier personnel within 7 Days of Delivery.

Returns accepted in case of Damaged/Defective Main Product or Different Item Delivered

For Defective Item received the return is limited to Replacement only.

PART 2 – GENERAL RULES FOR A SUCCESSFUL RETURN

  1. To be eligible for a return/refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be returned in the original packaging along with all accessories. We put in a lot of time into picking the suitable and best products for you, We ensure that it is packed safely with no damages because your satisfaction is very important to us. Any item that may have been damaged during shipping or sent incorrectly will be replaced immediately, But only if you send us an unboxing video on [email protected].
  2. Damage is considered only if the product is broken, with unboxing video from the beginning to end of your unpacking. Please note, That the item is not considered as damage when it is just removed because of the glue. We all know that some products are fixable by do it yourself method. Hence, there is no refund for fixable issues. But we ensure to send you only the best products from our end.
  3. Return Window will start once the product is delivered to you.
  4. The Item will be picked up by our courier partner after verification of the product. In case of any discrepancy found, courier partner is authorized to reject the return pickup.
  5. Refund of the product will be initiated to the same payment method once the return package reaches our warehouse and the quality check is completed in order to verify the product and it’s contents. Please Note, That if any discrepancy is found in the returned product/accessories (as per our T&C’s) then you would not be eligible for a refund.
  6. We don’t accept forced returns and these are non-refundable.

In case of refund, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method in 5-7 business days.

In case of COD/Partial COD orders, Amount will be credited to your desired payment mode in 5-7 business days.

PART 3 – CHARGES FOR REFUND UNDER DIFFERENT SCENARIO

For Damaged/Defective/Different Items – No Charges.

Cancellation Charges – Refer to below section.

*Under any case, the expenses incurred for Normal/Expedited Shipping fee will not get refunded.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

For cancelling of your order after placing, please send a mail to [email protected] with your cancellation request and order ID. All cancellations request will be accepted within 24 hours of order placement only. Post cancellation window no cancellation request would be accepted.

Please note that these costs are not charged by us, these are charged by the payment provider for processing your payment which is incurred by us.

Post-Dispatch (After-Dispatch) (Annexure-II)

₹ 99 – 199 (based upon the order value) will be surcharged in addition to the above mentioned (Annexure-I) Charges.

In case the customers want to return the product post-delivery (has been opened) and the product doesn’t fall in our standard return policy then a restocking fee of 15% will be charged in addition to Annexure-II Charges. (Annexure-I charges are already included in the restocking fees).

**Customer is required to place a formal return request by visiting “Orders Section” within the aforesaid return period in order to be eligible for a return; if you are facing any issues with placing a return request please drop a mail to [email protected] explaining your issue.

***Please note that sometimes the outer box of product catches stain because of shipping, handling or storage, in such cases return wouldn’t be accepted as it doesn’t affect the quality or condition of the main unit in any way.
